My FSEM is “History of American Disasters.” Our class focuses on American structure fires. Throughout the course we covered different fires, examining sources and discussing our thoughts. We discussed causes, issues, impact, and blame of various popular and less known fires. Each one was unique but many shared common issues. We discussed how these fires effected the people involved, their families, and society as a whole.
